About Course

For students ages 12–18, this 6-week course gives you the tools to think better, speak persuasively, and write clearly. Built on the timeless Trivium — Grammar, Logic, and Rhetoric — it teaches the intellectual skills behind every subject, career, and idea you’ll encounter. Through hands-on activities, reflection, and practice, you’ll gain the confidence to reason well, communicate with conviction, and navigate the modern world with clarity.

What Will You Learn?

  • Understand how Grammar, Logic, and Rhetoric form the foundation of clear thinking
  • Learn how to read critically and annotate with awareness
  • Recognize and avoid common logical fallacies
  • Write and deliver persuasive arguments with confidence
  • Practice respectful dialogue and disagreement (adab in debate)
  • Apply the Trivium to learn any subject with independence
  • Develop lifelong habits of questioning, reflection, and clarity

Course Content

Week 1 — What is Thinking? (Introduction to the Trivium)
Your child will discover how to slow down, think clearly, and express themselves with confidence — learning that good thinking is a skill they can build for life.

WEEK 2 — Grammar: Learning the Language of Ideas
They’ll start noticing how words shape meaning, helping them read more carefully, listen more thoughtfully, and avoid being misled.

WEEK 3 — Logic: Building and Spotting Arguments
Your child will begin to reason instead of just react — spotting weak arguments, building strong ones, and learning how to think critically.

WEEK 4 — Rhetoric: Speaking and Writing Persuasively
They’ll learn how to communicate their ideas in ways that others actually hear and respect, building confidence in both writing and speaking.

WEEK 5 — Debate, Dialogue & Disagreement with Adab
Your child will develop the ability to disagree respectfully and listen deeply — gaining emotional maturity along with intellectual skill.

WEEK 6 — Mastering the Art of Learning
By the end, they’ll see how to take charge of their own education — with habits of reflection, questioning, and clarity they can use in any subject or situation.
